  • Sub Inspector  in Executive Wing: 482 Posts
  • Sub Inspector  in Armed Wing: 176 Posts

Age Limit: 
18 to 28 Years

Pay Scale: 
₹ 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay ₹ 4240/-

Educational Qualification:
SI (Executive / Armed) :
  • Graduate Degree in any discipline.
SI (Telecommunication) :
  • Graduate Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
Physical Recruitment:
For male candidates:
  • Height = 5’-6” (min.); Chest = 32” (UN-expanded), 33½” (expanded) 
  • 1600 Long Race meters in 6½ minutes
  • 20 Push ups (one cycle of up and down to be counted as one)
For female candidates:
  • Height = 5’-2” (min.) 
  • 1000 meters in 6½ minutes
  • 4 ½ feet in three attempts
  • The test shall be qualifying in nature and no marks are allotted for these tests.
Selection Process: 
  • Physical Endurance Test (PET)
  • Physical Standard Test (PST)
  • Written Examination (Objective Type) and Viva-Voice/ Personality Assessment test.
Application Fee: 
A candidate shall deposit online fee of ₹ 300/- or use the services of Common Service  Centers  In case of non availability of online payment facility the candidate may use the option of depositing the application fee through Bank Challan.
